FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New SureThing CD/DVD Labeler Fits the Needs of MP3 Enthusiasts

SAN DIEGO, CA, October 16, 2003 — MicroVision Development — creator of popular SureThing CD Labeler, announces the recent release of SureThing CD/DVD Labeler Version 4.0, designed for MP3 and DVD buffs.

The most important update to the award-winning CD Labeler program since 2001, SureThing CD/DVD Labeler version 4.0 addresses the growing population of people who burn MP3 music onto CD-Rs and the booming trend of DVD creation at home. With the addition of new MP3 and DVD-inspired design layouts and text effects, an informative and attractive label can be added to CDs or DVDs in about the same time it takes for the ink from a sharpie pen to dry.

MP3 music files are compressed to a much smaller file size, which allows the user to fit hundreds of songs on a single CD-R. “It’s great to have so many songs all on one CD, but not knowing what you have on the CD is a real problem,” states Chris Blaikie, a self-proclaimed MP3 music aficionado. SureThing CD/DVD Labeler version 4.0 solves this problem with special circular, spiral and spoked text layouts designed to fit hundreds of MP3 track listings on a single label. In addition, SureThing CD/DVD Labeler version 4.0 now has compatibility with importing music track playlist information from popular player applications such as Windows Media Player and Musicmatch Jukebox.

To help the consumer who is burning DVDs at home, the team at MicroVision Development has added many additional templates and layouts for quickly creating professional-looking DVD labels and inserts for a DVD case.

Finally, SureThing CD/DVD Labeler Version 4.0 has included a new tool for labeling photo collections on CD. The new Collage Background function allows the user to make a tiled collage background using thumbnails from the entire image collection. For music CD labels, this tool can be used to create a compilation CD label that includes the album art from each track (this feature requires MUSICMATCH Jukebox 7.5 or Windows Media Player 9 “super tagging” that includes album art with music files).

“SureThing CD/DVD Labeler 4.0 follows our commitment to meet the demands of the digital market,” said Jim Mayall, president of MicroVision Development. “Whether you’re creating music CDs, backup CDs, or making home movies on DVDs, SureThing CD/DVD Labeler remains easy to use, and brings several unique tools to the table to address your specific project needs.”

SureThing CD/DVD Labeler Version 4.0 is available in retail stores as well as a variety of online resellers. The program can also be purchased directly from SureThing, at www.surething.com. People with previous versions of SureThing CD Labeler should go to SureThing.com for upgrade information.
